Volunteer Orientation
Volunteer
Orientations are scheduled as needed following the
submission of your online Volunteer Application. At your
Volunteer Orientation, you will receive a tour of our
facility at 1210 North Tryon Street, as well as receive a
copy of our Volunteer Manual. You will be able to find out
the various volunteer activities we have available to you,
as well as fill out a Volunteer Application, Volunteer
Agreement, and Confidentiality Statement. After doing this,
we will assess the best fit at the Uptown Shelter for your
skills and interests.
